Coffered ceiling

The roof is based on wooden coffered ceilings of "pair and knuckle" for the main nave, as the rest of the chapels, being independent, each has its corresponding altarpiece and coffered ceiling, which is almost always octagonal (eight-sided).

The one in the main chapel has four frames at the four corners, each with a knob. In the centre, the crenellation is decorated with five knobs, the central one being the largest.

It is decorated with pattern work at the ends as well as on the braces of the coffered ceiling in the main nave.
